Comics and Illustration Course for Children

This course introduces children to the world of comics and illustration in a fun and creative way. Through hands-on activities, kids will explore the similarities and differences between these two art forms and discover the latest trends in both. Each lesson builds on the last, and by the end of the course, children will have the opportunity to create their own animations and compare their work with others in similar mediums. Throughout the course, children will:

• Understand the connection between comics and illustration
• Design their own cartoon characters and develop their stories
• Explore various visual techniques used in comics
• Learn how to work with space and time in comics, illustrations, and animation
• Discover how to translate thoughts, ideas, and stories into visual form
