Course Drawing and painting for seniors is designed for all of "pensioners". Do you have a mother, father, grandmother, grandfather or aunt who enjoys painting and drawing? Get them as a gift a course of painting and drawing at our studio.

Semester course drawing and painting for seniors (19 lessons, 120 min) is intended for the general public, student age has no upper limit, the lower limit is reaching the retirement age. The course is designed for beginners, intermediate and advanced students, it is possible to individually edit the load of the course after agreement with the teacher.

The course focuses mainly on relaxed painting, the goal is to provide a quiet space for the development of hobbies or pastimes. In the studio, you will meet fellow students who enjoy painting, creative work... Lessons are held by experienced teachers, professional academic painters. Combine fun with learning and move your hobby further.

In the course, we will go together through the basics of drawing and painting, which follow the traditional approach to teaching by studying the facts and free form, based on your own imagination. During the course, you will be introduced to basic art techniques and themes. Our students learn to know the basics of building image, composition, color composition, in order to achieve artistic expression. At the same time, you became acquainted with the art science, we try to look into the development of fine art and is encouraged to try to build on current art trends.

 

In our art studio, we pay attention for a thorough selection of our lecturers, we focus on their own art activity – a personal experience cannot be quantified, at the same time we accept teachers who are empathic, intelligent and have a positive attitude not only to painting and drawing. The relationship between the teacher and the student is the basis we are building on. We believe that the pleasant creative atmosphere in the art studio is an important element that contributes awakening of your creativity. The character of the subject's structure and focus is depending on the individual artistic program of the lecturer, our teachers have strong personalities and the time spent by their side can be very inspiring for you.

Studying in the first semester is spread over several blocks:

• Drawing Still Life (introduction to drawing techniques, we will try a pencil, charcoal, chalk, ink)
• Study of architectural space (interior and exterior painting, perspective, proportions)
• Figure Drawing (portrait, figure)
• Painting (color theory, picture composition, techniques: watercolor, pastel, acrylic, oil)
• Drawing in the open air
• Combined techniques (individual's own creation)

Are you tired of just sitting in the studio? As our students have an opportunity to participate in exhibitions that the teachers will inform you about. Is it not enough and you would like to have your own exhibition? Not a problem, our atelier has a small exhibition space, we also organize regular exhibitions of our students, where they can present their works not only to their friends.
