Experience Breakfast on the Grass in the style of 19th century painters and learn the techniques they used to paint landscapes. The workshop is intended for both beginners and advanced painters who want to experience the authentic atmosphere of plein air painting. The workshop will flow in a peaceful and pleasant rhythm. The play of lights and shadows in local green parks will provide an inspiring atmosphere and each of the participants will create an impressionist landscape painting on canvas.
The participants will meet in the studio in Balbínova street at 10 am where there will be a short theoretical introduction to the history and technique of impressionist landscape painting. After that we will move to the local green parks where the plein air will take place. During the course, picnic refreshments such as a home made cake and a glass of wine will be available.
